Consultant, Antiracist Technology Challenge (Temporary Position)

Position Overview:

Solve is looking for someone to support the selection process for our Antiracist Technology in the US Challenge. This position will be for ~100 hrs starting as soon as possible.

You’re the right person if you are familiar with challenges to innovation in communities of color across the US, and able to speak to approaches to driving inclusive and equitable change through social entrepreneurship. In return, you’ll get to play a key role in the selection of Solve’s first US-focused Global Challenge. 

Scope of Work

Solution Review

  • Screening submissions to the Antiracist Tech Challenge for completeness, relevance, and appropriateness. 

  • Scoring solutions to help prioritize the top 50 submissions for Challenge Leadership Group review. 

  • Support Pillar Lead in preparing materials for Challenge Leadership Group deliberations. 

Finalist Preparation

  • Work with 15 selected finalist teams to prepare them for Leadership Group pitches and interviews

  • Provide guidance on pitch and slide content 

  • Pre-record pitches through Zoom for video production team

  • Coordinate questions from technical vetters and finalist responses, both in text and through video

  • Support during finalist interviews on August 16 and 17 

  • Prepare materials for final deliberations and Solver announcements 

  • Gather materials relevant for Finalist references and team delegate information
