The Solve Partnerships Coordinator will work closely with the Head of Partnerships and Partnerships Manager, and liaise with the Community, Events, and Communications teams at Solve. The primary responsibilities of the position are to identify viable sponsor prospects, complete due diligence on prospects, maintain data on Salesforce, coordinate sponsor and VIP logistics, prepare and/or support development of proposals, grant agreements and other sponsor communications, and establish good relations with sponsors and prospects.

The Partnerships Coordinator will:

  • Manage data related to current and prospect sponsors, including creating reports, entering and updating records, data reconciliation and reporting
  • Develop sponsor prospect pipeline including creating market landscape reports and background research, identifying viable sponsor prospects, performing due diligence on prospects, and customizing collateral for sponsors
  • Provide logistical support during Solve events including the flagship Solve at MIT to ensure high-value experience for sponsors, Solve Advisors, and attendees, providing excellent customer service
  • Monitor and report metrics in a timely manner, including pipeline, activity, and campaign reports
  • Prepare or support development of proposals and grant agreements
  • Draft communications for sponsors and prospects
  • Create and maintain good relations with sponsors and prospects
  • Other tasks as assigned by the Head of Partnerships and Partnerships Manager

Minimum Required Skills: 

  • A bachelor’s degree and a minimum of two years of related experience managing relationships and partnerships
  • Excellent written and oral communications skills including by email and phone
  • Excellent Excel, database, project management, and organization skills
  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills
  • Good working knowledge of Salesforce
  • Excellent eye for detail and process
  • A genuine delight in connecting with people
  • The ability to prioritize, handle multiple projects simultaneously, and plan work in an efficient manner to meet deadlines in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment
  • The ability to work independently, take initiative, and anticipate needs
  • Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills
