Collective Medicine is Native American nonprofit organization whose purpose is to gather resources that benefit and comfort fellow Natives. Water Warriors United is a COVID -19 Relief Campaign initiated by Collective Medicine, our non-profit organization. We are currently providing drinking water, delivered along with brand new 55 gallon poly-drums to our elderly tribal members and residents in need who do not currently have running water in their homes.

Important service project addressing an critical need for the community, access to clean water. Wonder if the service could be integrate with wells or other sources of water to have more sustainable impact?

Hi Janelle, thank you so much for the comment. We do integrate our services with wells and other sources of water, such as NTUA watering stations. We only access monitored wells or municipal water. There are many unmonitored and contaminated wells across the reservation, which prompts our other objective of doing toxicity testing and providing the public and tribe with the results. This is so they have the knowledge of what they are drinking (there are many that still get their water from these unmonitored wells) and to inspire policy change, remediation, infrastructure, etc.

Thanks for the step by step tutorial. Works like a charm! The solution worked for me thanks to the article.
