What specific problem are you solving?
Concerned over your kids screen time? are you aware of how different activities can impact speeding up or slowing down the mental development of your kids? Parents who understand that 85% of children’s mental development happens before the age of 8 will be more likely inclined to divert their kids towards spending their time on something constructive rather than playing games and watching non useful content online. However, parents still wonder if there is a solution to limit the screen time in a way that is engaging to the kids yet makes learning fun.
It is obvious that new generation parents understand the need for education and parental control, but still struggle with limiting the screen time, and not being a helicopter parent that keeps an eye on each and every activity of their children in a way that restricts their growth process.

We are proud to introduce “Ketabi”, an innovative application that not only blocks inappropriate content but also combines screen time limitation in a playful education process. Ketabi realizes how much kids love games, and it offers them daily quizzes to play online in an interactive user interface. Ketabi is the solution for parents to have an appropriate parental control while also navigating the children online behavior and elevate their learning experience.

What is your theory of change?
A 2017 study in the Clinical Psychological Science journal found that for adolescents in grades 8 through 12, increased time on new media (to include social media and smartphones) led to an increased rate of depressive symptoms, suicide-related outcomes, and suicide rates.
And a recent PEW Research Center Survey reports nearly nine out of 10 teens think excessive screen time is a problem, and six out of 10 say it is a major problem , and WE DONT EVEN KNOW HOW THEY SPEND THOSE HOURS ON THEIR PHONES !
Our Free MVP App simply takes control over your kid’s phone and hold their favorite apps hostage ,giving the control back to the parents by limiting screentime and apps use remotely, and allowing parent to add milestones that the kid has to do before playing his favorite apps.
Plus , we are proud of our “Safe Space feature” where we block access to all unappropriated content and even block pop up ads inside the games .
But What makes Ketabi unique is that we combine all that with Education , where your child will get more screentime by answering daily quizzes .
Our next major step is to build an education portal inside the protected space , and recruit creative educational content creators on a Profit sharing basis offering upto 90% of the profit to invest in building quality and fun educational content.
At Ketabi ,We dream of the day that our kids will go to school to play , exercise and do hands-on experimentation while most of the reading and studying is to be done at home after school .

What is your business model?
With Ketabi all basic features will be provided free of charge , and will ensure that adequate educational content will always be offer for free .
But as Ketabi is made to be an Educational Content Marketplace , some content will be charged .
Parents can choose subscribing to content for their kids to learn from , as Ketabi will integrate with any content provider offering upto 80% of the profit to go back to the content makers/teachers to encourage them making more content and lead the change .
