Our solution's stage of development:
ResearchOur solution:
career planning apps: where all information needed for planning the career with self assessment tool, linking with job posting website, job matching function which can assess how much the job seeker match with the job requirement
Our pitch:
The Problem here in Laos is that we have to spend 16 years in school to prepare ourselves before we enter the labour market. surprisingly, the job or or job hunting is never mentioned through out our education. many people are left with the shocking truth when they graduated that they lacks many skills or specific experience to apply for a job.
So basically, what we are trying to do is to provide a career planning tool to students and the youth start making a plan for their career before they graduate. By having the awareness of oneself capacity and able to compare it with the job requirement, this will allow the student to plan ahead. aware of what they lack and improve on that point. with this they will be better prepared for the labour market and especially their first job.
We do believe that this approach will be useful not only here in Laos but anywhere in the world where career planning is an issue, especially in the third world country. by having a goal this will also provide a hope for the better future and it will make the study more meaningful and the youth will be more focus on the goal.
The problem:
Our solution aims to address the problem as follows:
- The issue for the poor are that lacking of information regarding the opportunities may it be education, training or employment.
- lack of tool which is necessary for a useful career planning.
- to address the problem of job seekers do not understand or unaware of the job requirement
Why our solution will solve the problem:
as the saying goes, information is power. the app is not only designed to enable the flow of the information but also enable the marginalized people to be able to assess themselves against the job opportunity available and able to make a plan.
why this is so important? be cause this will give people hope and motivate them in whatever they do along the journey to their goal. with the free tool like career planning apps, it will enable anyone who have access to smartphone and internet can make their own plan.
Our target outcomes:
Change in behaviour of the students and job seekers with better expectation and preparation for the future or future career in specific.

For-ProfitHow we will sustain our team financially:
While the website and apps will be available free of charge, we have a plan to generate income to sustain ourselves as follow:

- some commission from the job posting website, if they want to link their website with the apps
