This year, Solve is crowdsourcing funding from our community to support the 61 finalists in from our 2019 Global Challenges. Here's how you can get involved:
- DONATE to contribute to the Community Award pool. Our goal is to raise $10,000! As a thank-you, supporters who give $75 or more before September 15 will win a pair of fancy Solve socks.
- VOTE for your favorite finalists. The finalist from each Challenge with the most votes will receive Community Awards of $2,500 each.
You can vote for as many solutions as you like until September 20 at 5:00pm ET. Our judges will consider your votes when selecting the 2019 Solver Class, which will be announced along with the Community Award winners at Solve Challenge Finals. A total of four finalists will receive the Community Award, and you don't have to be selected as a Solver to win.
Don’t forget to donate now to contribute to the Community Award pool! Donations are fully tax-deductible, and 100 percent of your contribution will go towards grants and support to help Solve finalists pilot and scale their work. MIT is a recognized 501(c)(3) charitable entity.
