Betsy Edasery

Managing Director, The Workers Lab

Betsy Edasery is the Managing Director at The Workers Lab. Previously, she served as The Workers Lab Program Director. Before joining The Workers Lab, Betsy served as the Community Engagement Manager at the Equality Fund, a donor organizing project incubated by Asian Americans for Equality; an Organizing Fellow with Resource Generation helping to mobilize wealthy young people of color to fund progressive social change; and conducted research and helped share grantee learnings at Living Cities. As an Associate Consultant at the social impact advisory firm TCC Group, she supported strategic planning and capacity-building engagements with the LGBTQ Racial Justice Fund, Ford Foundation, Gates Foundation, New Mexico Health Equity Partnership, and Community Foundation for Greater New Haven. Betsy has served on the New York City chapter steering committee of Emerging Practitioners in Philanthropy and on the Board of the Third Wave Fund. She has a graduate degree in Urban and Regional Planning from the University of California, Los Angeles and is also a graduate of Stanford University where she majored in Comparative Studies in Race and Ethnicity.
