Carmen Nibigira is an active member of Davis College and Akilah’s Rwanda Board of Directors and previously served on its Foundation Board for the past seven years. Having been a part of Akilah since its inception, Nibigira advises the college on program strategy, outreach, new markets and initiatives. Beyond her work with Akilah, Ms. Nibigira is a dynamic business leader, with an international track record of delivering significant results in a variety of difficult, volatile markets. She has extensive experience and deep domain expertise in the tourism business (destination management and tourism policy); cross-regional consultancy and, most recently, tertiary education.
