Doug Warner

Vice President and Global Head of Tech Vision and Strategy, HP Inc.

Doug Warner is a member of the leadership team within HP’s Printing & Personal Systems CTO Office. He is currently responsible for identifying and incubating potentially disruptive new tech-enabled businesses in key emerging technology areas. He also oversees outreach and engagement with the Venture Capital, start-up and innovation community. Warner has been with HP since 2001 and has served in a variety of strategy, business development and management roles for various HP lines of business and for HP’s Corporate Technology and Strategy Office. In his previous HP roles, Warner worked in a wide range of areas involving industries undergoing fundamental transformation driven by the Internet, Mobile, Cloud, and other key technology trends of the 1990s and 2000s and onwards. Most recently, he helped lead strategy for HP’s reentry into tablets with Android and Windows tablet offerings for consumer and commercial customers. All of Doug’s previous roles at HP have involved new business creation and incubation and have focused on the intersection of devices, software and web / cloud solutions for industries such as photography, media & entertainment, publishing, and consumer electronics. Prior to joining HP, Warner was a management consultant and also a founding member of Shutterfly.com, a leading interactive photo and personal publishing service.  He holds MBA and JD degrees from Duke University.
