Challenge: How Can Individuals and Corporations Manage and Reduce their Carbon Contributions?
Solution: TCO Carbon-Neutral Syngas
ATCO is a gas processing and transportation company in Canada that is working to co-locate renewable energy and a reversible fuel cell to allow production and storage of carbon-neutral syngas using CO2 from the atmosphere. This approach can replace the fossil methane used for heating and electricity generation while making use of existing infrastructure.
Ed Cullinan is a Senior Engineer on ATCO’s Research & Innovation team. Overseeing a research portfolio, his focus is in community energy systems and energy efficiency, alternative energy, power to gas technology and operational technology.
