Senior Director of Training & Certification, ServiceNow

United Kingdom

Faez Ahmed is Senior Director of Training & Certification at ServiceNow.

Faez graduated with an Electronics degree in 1990 and spent the first 5 years of his career working as an Engineer in the oil industry. He then moved into the L&D world with Hewlett Packard before joining ServiceNow in 2010 where he was instrumental in building the Education program from scratch.

Throughout his work life, he has remained totally focussed on creating innovative programs entirely through volunteering. In 2007, he delivered a speech to the UN Commission on Science and Technology for Development in which he laid out a blueprint for solving the Digital Literacy gap that exists in the developing world. Through the programs he established, which included setting up libraries, sewing skills, and IT centres in some of the poorest parts of the world, over 20,000 have gained a source of income and thus come out of poverty. Many of these have been orphans, women, and disability groups.

In 2019, he established the ServiceNow Veterans program in the USA and is currently working on a Digital Literacy program in the UK that will give 5,000 youth a second chance in life. At ServiceNow, he has led teams that won Innovation and Impact awards in the Education industry and now leads the NextGen team that is focussed on making the world a better place to work through innovative learning programs that break the cycle of generational poverty.
