Burhan Jaffer is a VC and PE executive with 24+ years of industry experience. Burhan is Founder & CEO of Aleph Venture Platform (Stealth Mode) an innovation accelerator focused on Food/AgTech and Circular Economies as well as Founder and Managing Partner of Plasma Ventures which is a flexible mandate PE and VC firm based in NYC. Burhan is also Co-Sponsor and Chief Financial Officer of a SPAC called Compass Digital Acquisition Corp, that is focused on the $1 trillion-dollar digital transformation segment of technology companies.

He is an advisor to leading private equity groups that are focused on the technology segment, MIT Solve which is a social impact innovation marketplace and a number of boutique VC’s.

Between 2016-2021, Burhan Jaffer was the Chief Strategy & Corporate Development Officer at Conduent Inc, a successful spin off of the diversified software and services business of Xerox Corporation following shareholder activism to split Xerox.

Before joining Conduent, Burhan spent 12 years with Infosys, a global leader in technology services and consulting across several leadership roles. In his last leadership role at Infosys, he led the Corporate Finance and M&A / Investments team. Under his stewardship, Infosys developed and launched a $500M venture fund for investing in early-stage start-ups engaged in disruptive technology. Burhan advised the Infosys Board and Leadership on a variety of strategic investment decisions, special projects, and business model innovation thesis for the strategic reboot of Infosys. Prior to that, Burhan served as a Portfolio CFO of multiple business units.

Between 2001-2005, Burhan spent time at ConAgra as part of their expansion into South Asia, in a variety of trading, operational and financial roles.

Burhan is a Harvard Business School Alumnus. He also attended Stanford University where he completed an executive program specializing in Mergers & Acquisitions as well as the Executive Leadership Development program. Burhan is a Fellow of the Herndon Directors Institute.
