Marwa Eltaib

Co-Founder, RVA26

Marwa is a software project manager and activist that has led many initiatives addressing criminal justice reform focused on systemic change. She works at the intersections of climate and racial justice, with expertise on impact in technology and government policy. She is co-founder of racial justice nonprofit, RVA26, which offers mutual aid and jail support for black residents in Richmond, VA. In 2020, she was elected as a State and National Delegate for the Democratic National Convention, where she assisted in building the National Democratic Platform and helped pass key criminal justice reform resolutions including the DPVA "Racism as a Public Health Crisis" resolution which was later adopted as HJ537 in the VA General Assembly.
