Long time Seattle teacher leader Peter Hubbard has been involved in many innovative networking projects over the years. He has also invented Tetragami, a paper folding design system, which won first place at the Seattle Maker Faire and has been used as a successful classroom fundraising tool to support Sister Schools in Sierra Leone and the Congo.

He was a speaker at the MIT SOLVE inaugural conference where he suggested that schools should promote integrated STEAM curriculum and real world problem solving, including engaging with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.
