Ruma Bose is a business executive, serial entrepreneur, best-selling author and humanitarian leader. Most recently, Ruma was President of Chobani Foundation and Chobani Ventures, supporting entrepreneurs and organizations with a mission to make better food for more people.  She was also founding President of Tent Foundation, endowed by Hamdi Ulukaya, Chobani Founder and CEO, where she launched and led the organization into one of the leading foundations in the fight to end the global refugee crisis. Prior to this she was President and co-CEO at Sprayology, President at Vincent Longo, Senior Director at Roseworthy Capital and co-Founder at Finishline. Ruma co-authored the international bestselling book, “Mother Teresa, CEO” which was translated into eight languages.  The book demonstrates the management and leadership principles of Mother Teresa and explains how they can be applied to businesses and non-profits alike.  The book was inspired by time Ruma worked with Mother Teresa in Calcutta.  Ruma is a sought after speaker globally, an active mentor to entrepreneurs and sits on several boards.  She has spoken at events including the Forbes 100 Most Powerful Women’s Summit, World Humanitarian Summit, World Economic Forum, Banff Forum and the United Nations. She has been featured in publications including The Economist, Wall Street Journal, Fast Company, Financial Times, LA Times, Business Insider and Bloomberg. Ruma is a member of the Young President’s Organization (YPO) and serves on the Global Entrepreneurs’ Council at the United Nations Foundation, is on the innovation advisory board of the United Nations Refugee Agency (UNHCR), and Canada 2020, the leading think tank institution in Canada and is a Global Ambassador for the World Association of Girl Guides and Girl Scouts (WAGGGS), a 100+ year old organization in 140 countries, serving over ten million girls.
