Shannyn excels at business transformation. Most recently, she drove the transformation of Xilio Therapeutics into a public company by leading IPO readiness. Prior to biotech, Shannyn led the relaunch of a rare disease brand at Takeda and was recognized as the “Marketer of the Year” and by PM360 ELITE as one of the most influential people in the healthcare industry. In 2021, Shannyn was honored as one of the Boston Business Journal's Power 50: The Movement Makers.

Shannyn launched her career in strategic communications and consulting in NYC. She built and led business units and teams focused on early commercialization, scientific and medical strategy, and US and Global product launches for pharmaceutical and biotech clients.

She earned her MBA from the MIT Sloan School of Management and her AB, cum laude, from Harvard University.
