Shrenik set up the Aditya Birla Group Innovation Fund (“ABGIF”) in 2019 and leads the ABGIF Team. ABGIF drives global startup partnerships for Aditya Birla Group.

ABGIF partners with global startups with the vision of working with some of the best minds in the world to create value in spaces aligned/adjacent to Aditya Birla Group such as new product innovation, materials technologies, renewable energy, FinTech, HealthTech, fashion, chemicals innovations, Artificial Intelligence, pro-climate innovation, PropTech, process innovation, disruptive business models, asset productivity, circularity, safety etc.

ABGIF creates long term engagement with startups and facilitates scaleup of startups by collaboration across ABG Businesses. ABGIF leads investments in compelling winners from these cohorts in partnership with strategic LPs.

Shrenik is a Challenge Leader for MIT Solve and works actively in the Climate Challenge Group

Shrenik has experience in spaces of Family Offices, Investment Management, Corporate Venture Capital, Investment Banking and Management Consulting. He is a Chartered Accountant and completed his MBA from IIM Bangalore in 1998.
