Shreya is a rising junior at Stanford University majoring in computer science. She co-directs SHE++, a nonprofit organization run by Stanford undergraduate students to increase diversity in technology fields. In the rare moments that Shreya is not working on SHE++ or studying for classes, she enjoys applying artificial intelligence techniques to interesting datasets, trying new foods, and hanging out with friends. She is currently a software engineering intern at Facebook working on civic engagement tools.

Solution: SHE++ coaches high school women to lead hands-on projects showcasing technology in their communities, and bring finalists to Silicon Valley to network. SHE++ is a low-cost, scalable initiative run by college volunteers.
