Suzanne Miller

Chief Medical Officer, Ventec Life Systems

Dr. Suzanne M. Miller is an emergency physician, entrepreneur, and executive with a decade of experience serving as chief medical officer of medical technology companies with social missions. After graduating with honors from Harvard College, earning a MD at Harvard Medical School, and completing residency at Stanford University, Suzie has practiced medicine on every continent. Highlights include serving as attending emergency physician at major trauma centers in the Washington, DC metro area, Brooklyn, NY, and Sydney Australia; providing disaster response after the Haitian earthquake; educating emergency clinicians in India; volunteering in Palestinian refugee camps; and caring for adventure racers from the Sahara Desert to Antarctica.

Suzie currently serves as chief medical officer of Ventec Life Systems, manufacturer of VOCSN, an FDA-approved, multi-function ventilator. Ventec has partnered with General Motors to meet the ventilator needs of the COVID-19 pandemic. Prior to joining Ventec, Suzie was chief clinical officer for Coviu, a Sydney-based telehealth software company focused on using artificial intelligence to improve video visits. Previous roles include serving as CMO for What The Doctor Said, a social enterprise dedicated to improving doctor-patient communication during the discharge process and for Eniware, a Noxilizer spin-off company providing portable sterilization solutions for the developing world.
