Korea, Rep.

I started my career as a education-specialized newspaper journalist. While working in media field, I realized something very important. Education and journalism, are both outdated. They have not changed at all since 19C, though they should have been the most flexible and fashionable area regarding their role in society - They are about future matter. In 21C, we need many things which are not very needed till now. Knowledge and Information is no longer only key factor when we think of our children. 21C is very changeable, and unpredictable. Our children will have to face unexpected problems and solve them with their knowledge. But traditional class, has been only about passing information from generation to next. And this is of course not good enough. It is time to see how to handle expanding information. Same problem goes to media. Recently, journalism field has many changes. Traditional format or journalism grammar is no longer powerful as before. Because journalism cannot monopolize information anymore. Old journalism regulation is only valid when media is the only source for new information. But in 21C, that cannot be happened. So, I quitted. Instead, I decided to join the new way. Now, I am in charge of searching great examples and possibilities on education innovation, and help them to share great ideas which can change the future world into better place. World Biggest Class Project, by Future Class Network, was my first choice. It is the efficient solution as it does not have to change the whole things at once. It effectively helps student to use their knowledge to solve problems around them. This model is very powerful in terms of supporting our children to empower 21C skills;communication, creativity, and problem-solving, etc. Naturally, this also can contribute to community and citizenship. If anyone interested in the solution I has been attracted, please do look my solution. I strongly believe The World's Biggest Class Project could trap anyone who are interested in the new education to save our children's future.
