Zhihan is the CEO of BagoSphere, a pioneer in immersive education programs in the Philippines, equipping rural youth with in-demand skills to enter growing industries. We make higher education competency-based, affordable and relevant for developing markets. Zhihan spent a year in a medical-tech start-up in Stockholm, and studied entrepreneurship at the Stockholm School of Entrepreneurship & The Royal Institute of Technology (KTH) in 2008. Thereafter, Zhihan ventured into rural India to work with a social enterprise involved in rural IT outsourcing and started BagoSphere. Zhihan graduated from the National University of Singapore in the exclusive Engineering Science Program. While researching nanotechnology and medical devices, he won the best thesis award in his cohort. He was the Singapore Ambassador for the Thousand Network - the leading global network of innovators under 30, and is a 2016 Global Good Fund Fellow. Zhihan enjoys music, nature and hence cannot be in any air-conditioned place for long. In his spare time, he plays the piano and trombone.
