Basic Information

Our Solution

knowX community

Our tagline:

Inclusive and accessible knowledge, networks, opportunities, and work.

Our pitch:

1. What is the problem that you are committed to solving?

Do you have trouble trawling through stuff online to find accurate and reliable information? Are there things decided by government that negatively affect you and your family? Have you ever just missed an opportunity by a day? Do you have people surrounding you who can support you and empower you to develop?  Are you able to find appropriate work to provide for the financial needs of you and your family? Do you have the necessary skills to keep you employed into the future?

 2. What is the project you are proposing?

The knowX community (knowXco) provides an accessible and inclusive community-created platform and app designed to eliminate barriers to accurate and appropriate knowledge, timely opportunities, inclusive and diverse networks, and financially viable work

3. How will your project change your community?

This project aims to empower individuals and communities through providing access to education, learning and skills, appropriate networks, and create opportunities for financially viable work.

4. What is the biggest barrier to your project reaching more people?

knowXco needs access to funding to design and develop the platform, expertise and mentorship available starting from the initial indigenous-led design and technical architecture, through to the management of this platform.  knowXco also needs media exposure to raise awareness of this platform.
