Pitch us on your solution

Eliminate Access gap to opportunities and information through a system of vinculation.

Creating a network system of social entrepreneurs and establish a methodology with key partners to identify problems and connect it with the right solutions.

It will provide to vulnerable groups access to opportunities of growth and development.

What is the problem you are solving?

Data from 9 Latin American countries indicate that indigenous peoples comprise about 30% of people living in extreme poverty, and women are at the bottom of all social and economic indicators. Latin America is the highest region in this problem of all the regions of the world.

In the state of Puebla there are 567, 983 inhabitants (8.6%) who live with three or more social deficiencies, which is considered extreme poverty. Currently in Latin America there are 67.4 million people in extreme poverty that could rise to 90 million in the coming months due to the covid-19 health contingency.

The contribuiting factore are: The structure is composed for the core team, main contacts and people in the community. The core team is integrated by 4 persons, we have contact with at least 150 entrepreneurs or businessmen/ businesswomen in Puebla city, with whom we will create a vinculation system to connect with the people in the community for advice, technical support and/or training.

Who are you serving?

We are working with the main contacts of rural teachers, university students and social volunteers. We are planning to impact people living in extreme poverty collaborating with the main contacts, giving them a metodology to identify problems

The main contacts are our eyes to observe and identify where we can establish contact to collaborate. We will work with people from the community to train and follow them up to implement an on-site project in a local problem and start making a network with solutions.

What is your solution?

The solution proposed is a proactive service of connection between vulnerable groups and organizations (profit or not profit organizations) that bring the solution to improve and empower the group.

  • What processes and technology or materials are you using?

Identify organizations (ONG’s, OG’s, Social Entreperneurs and Companies) and key partnerts (Rural Schools, Students missions groups, Rotary groups)

For organizations we should contact them to invite to work with us in the proyect, sharing his information.

For key partners we need to train with a metodology to identify problems in order to bring them the correct organization that could help them.

The sources that we are using are: social network, e-mail, movil Telephone, internet, relationships, telephone and dissemination campaigns.

Select only the most relevant.

  • Provide equitable access to learning and training programs regardless of location, income, or connectivity throughout Latin America and the Caribbean

More about your solution

Describe what makes your solution innovative.

We are changing the way to conect with the objetive population and we are developing a new metododology to teach to our key partnerts to clearly identify the problem to conect with solution.

Through our key partners we want to have exponientialy contact with the vulnerable grup.

Through our the organization we are looking to know exactly how they work to know

We are seeking to connect the energy of leaders, the experience of projects and the need of vulnerable communities to improve the living conditions of the people in the community and the sense of cooperation of all the people involved. We are applying a training and sponsorship methodology to have far-reaching actions.

Why do you expect your solution to address the problem?

We are seeking to reduce the barrier of inequality, environmental damage, technology and education to unite the knowledge and experiences of city people in vulnerable communities, and vice versa. We will start in the city of Puebla, then throughout the country of Mexico and then we will go to other cities in other LATAM countries using the advantages of a network and sponsorship.

Select the key characteristics of the population in Latin America and the Caribbean your solution serves (or will serve).

  • Rural Residents
  • Very Poor

In which countries do you currently operate?

  • Mexico

In which countries will you be operating within the next year?

  • Belize
  • Guatemala

How many people are you currently serving with your solution? How many will you be serving in one year? How about in five years?

The core team now is integrated by 4 persons. The best thing would be to be 5 persons for decisions making. The strategy will be to create the network of entrepreneurs and businessmen/ women and get in touch with the main contacts of the community to work. In the city of Puebla we have a network with around 150 entrepreneurs and businessmen/woman. We are starting to get in touch with communities, we calculate it could be a group of around 10 persons. Adding all the parts, in the city of Puebla we will be around 165 people working to improve living conditions in a vulnerable community. In the next year, if we replicate the network in 13 states, we will be 65 people in the core team, 130 main contacts in communities and the network of 1,950 entrepreneurs and businessmen/women.

To replicate the system we are planning to use the tools of a network and sponsor, that is, each team will sponsor 3 cities, be trained and after a certain time they will in turn sponsor 3 other cities. In 5 years we will be around 405 people in the core team, 810 main contacts and 12,150 entrepreneurs and businessmen/women at the network

What are your goals within the next year and within the next five years?

- Create a solid network between entrepreneurs, businessmen/women and vulnerable communities.
- Create projects to improve the living conditions in vulnerable communities.
- Create a sense of unity and cooperation between the persons
