Project Summary

Afya Pamoja is digital patient feedback service to provide actionable and real-time performance management data for public healthcare managers in Tanzania to improve service quality. The service is designed to be used in the 6,000 primary care facilities in Tanzania, which provide healthcare services to 50 million people, but currently have inadequate performance management and feedback systems. Using widely available SMS technologies we plan to elevate the voices to citizens to drive improvements in service quality. We have approval to pilot our service at small scale in May 2021 and are now focused on building and testing our product.
