Basic Information
Project Summary
Currently, less than 7% of high school graduates in Eswatini proceed to higher education (UNICEF Eswatini, 2020). This problem's root causes include, among others, inaccessible information about the admissions processes and requirements and a frustrating and expensive application process.
TKI proposes SaSa, a mobile-friendly web platform that would enable high school graduates to quickly and inexpensively apply for tertiary education. Our solution would reduce the application costs by at least $25 (money spent on transport and printing). Over time, through negotiations with local tertiary institutions, it will also reduce the application fees for local EmaSwati students.
