MELUDIA - BRINGING MUSIC LITERACY TO THE WORLD
- Pre-Seed
Meludia is an online interactive education platform to master the fundamentals of music. In developing the ability to understand and better appreciate the language of music, Meludia naturally raises the level of engagement and motivation and, at the same time, develops innate music perception and the ability to listen better.
Music is incredibly good for us! Countless scientific studies prove how much learning music increases your IQ and improves your chances of academic and social success. 90% of people would like to play an instrument. 95% of parents want their children to study music.
However, on average 85% of children who start music before seven years old will have stopped before the age of fifteen. This is a global challenge to keep students committed and motivated to music studies.
Our premise is that music literacy is a basic human right, no different than the right to to speak, read and write. This will contribute to a more harmonious, rational, creative and peaceful world. Meludia is used in varied settings:
- Hospitals: bringing pleasure, comfort and a healthy distraction from illness and pain in pediatric and adult units.
- Social Welfare: serving as a collective educational game, bringing fun, camaraderie and self-confidence to abused and abandoned children.
- in Correctional Centers: creating positive interaction between detainees
- in Care Centers for the Elderly: stimulating, awakening and bringing pleasure to the elderly.
Maint target: all youth organizations, as well as education and music education institutions all over the world.
Main outcomes:Reinforcement of music skills and related knowledge
- Ongoing and continuous self-improvement
- Enhanced motivation and engagement for learning and practicing music

The ‘Meludia Method’ was conceived by pedagogue Vincent Chaintrier, upon 25 years of research. It aggregates several recognised music learning methods, as well as recent advances in cognitive science, including reinforcement learning. In developing the user’s ability to understand and better appreciate the language of music, the ‘Meludia Method’ naturally raises the level of engagement and motivation and, at the same time, develops innate music perception and the ability to listen better. What makes the Internet application of the ‘Meludia Method’ exceptional is that it is an interactive and progressive tool, incorporating gamification, that is also fun to use.
Meludia can be used on an individual basis, as well as in a collective setting. See: https://www.youtube.com/watch?...
