Solve at Pine Ridge 2019

Solve at Pine Ridge is a gathering on the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation in South Dakota to celebrate and uplift innovation across Indian Country. This event will highlight the 2019 MIT Solve Indigenous Communities Fellows and their projects, which blend traditional knowledge with technology to create sustainable economic development and resiliency through conserving natural and cultural resources.

Join MIT Solve Indigenous Communities Fellows, MIT staff & faculty, our partner shift7, tribe members, students, and leaders from other cross-sector organizations this fall. Throughout the event, we will encourage knowledge exchange and build partnerships for native-led projects—from beekeeping to regenerative agriculture to Indigenous fine arts.

This event is free and open to the community. To learn more, get in touch with Solve at fellows@solve.mit.edu. Thanks and appreciation in advance to the Oglala Sioux Tribe, Racing Magpie, The Bush Foundation, and Thunder Valley Community Development Corporation.
