Senior Partner of Azerta, one of the most important strategic communication and public affairs agencies in Chile and Peru.
Cristina Bitar leads the execution of plans to solve complex business crises, as well as regulatory issues and highly visible media issues for large corporate clients in all economic sectors.

She is also the director of the AFP Provida, a Metlife company. She was also Member of the Board of Newmont, the largest gold mining company in the world, until April 2020. She is a public policy advisor at Instituto Libertad y Desarrollo, Council Member of Comunidad Mujer, and has been part of the World Economic Forum’s Young Global Leaders since 2008.

Cristina has a Bachelor degree in Economics and Sociology from Darmouth College and also holds and MBA degree from Universidad de Chile and Tulane University. She is a professor in the postgraduate programs of Communications and Crisis at Universidad Adolfo Ibañez.
