Deborah Campbell

Vice President, Capital Initiatives

Deborah Campbell has 25 years of experience in the fields of community development and affordable housing finance. Mrs. Campbell has extensive experience in capital development and secondary markets. She currently serves as VP of Capital Initiatives for Community Housing Capital, one of America’s largest National CDFIs. She is considered a national thought leader in Tribal jurisdiction collateral structures and an innovator in addressing issues associated with attracting private capital to Native work. She serves on the Board of Directors of Native Partnership for Housing and several committees of the National Association of Affordable Housing Lenders.
She was the founding director of a NeighborWorks organization, which specialized in neighborhood revitalization through home ownership and served two terms in local public office as a city council member and Vice President in Salisbury, MD. She also has significant private sector experience and specialized knowledge in Total Quality Management.
Mrs. Campbell is a graduate of the Achieving Excellence in Community Development Executive Education Program at Harvard University’s Kennedy School.
