Nick Chedli Carter

Director of Advocacy, VICE Impact

Nick Chedli Carter is Director of Advocacy for VICE Impact, an issues-oriented advocacy platform recently launched by VICE Media. Impact aims to facilitate direct action on pressing issues most relevant to its global youth audience.  Nick oversees content, advocacy objectives and partnerships. Before he came to VICE, Nick was busy on the American political campaign trail. Most recently, he worked for U.S. Congressman and DNC Deputy Chair Keith Ellison after time with Hillary for America during the U.S. general election. Prior to that, he held the role of National Political Outreach Director for U.S. Senator Bernie Sanders' presidential campaign after serving as managing director for Sen. Sanders' Senate campaign. He began his career in the nonprofit sector, doing direct advocacy and capacity building with a diverse array of organizations ranging from marriage equality to free speech and is a proud former Planned Parenthood public affairs staffer.
