Wamuyu is the Managing Partner and Convener, Collaborative Value Partners – Africa. An
organization that creates multi-stakeholder alliances in a structured and sustainable way to boost their combined power to ensure Collaborative value. Wamuyu is also the Chairperson of Catalyst 2030 Kenya Chapter, a global movement of social entrepreneurs and social innovators from all sectors who share the common goal of creating innovative, people-centric approaches to attain the Sustainable Development Goals by 2030.

Wamuyu was elected as an Ashoka Fellow in 2010 in recognition for her social innovation, entrepreneurial qualities and potential to achieve impact in the area of youth employment. Wamuyu Founded the Youth Banner in January 2010 to create a generation of enterprising young people, most of whom are women and the majority of whom are rural. Wamuyu is energized by the success she has had in sparking youth entrepreneurship and has taken steps through The Youth Banner to establish a framework that others can tap into to emulate her success.

Wamuyu holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from University of Nairobi and is at the trail end of her Doctoral studies in Business Administration (DBA) at United States International University. Her doctorate research investigated the influence of Team leadership on Collaborative value within Ashoka Fellow organizations in Africa.
