Position Overview

Solve is seeking a Partnerships Coordinator (Temporary) to support fundraising, strategic partnerships, and operational efforts during a high-impact year for the organization. In 2026, Solve is celebrating its 10-year anniversary, which includes special celebration programming and fundraising campaigns to support organizational goals. This role will serve as a critical support function for the success of Solve’s fundraising efforts and broader philanthropic and business development priorities. 

The Coordinator, reporting to Director, Strategic Partnerships & Philanthropy, will advance fundraising and partnership efforts by supporting stewardship, prospecting research, reporting, invoicing coordination, cross-functional workflows, and event-related activities. The role will help develop and manage systems, track progress across fundraising targets, support partner and funder engagement, and execute day-to-day operational plans that contribute to business development, revenue-generation, and team success.


Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate fundraising and strategic partnerships support efforts across Solve’s product lines: Sponsorship, Prize Administration, Custom Programs, and Donations to advance philanthropic and business development goals for Solve 

  • Develop and maintain systems and processes for tracking, planning, and executing development and partnership projects, including support for Solve’s 10-year anniversary-related campaigns

  • Manage stewardship coordination by gathering information, compiling ad hoc stewardship materials, supporting Relationship Managers with engagement planning, and tracking progress

  • Identify and research prospective funders and partners, prepare research summaries, work with and train AI-based prospecting tool, and contribute to prospecting strategy and prioritization discussions

  • Draft and edit written materials including outreach drafts, stewardship communications, background research, and proposal and collateral content

  • Manage internal tracking systems and reporting in Salesforce, Asana, HubSpot, and spreadsheets in coordination with the Operations & Impact team

  • Create new reports and refine existing reporting tools to support leadership decision-making, pipeline visibility, and revenue-generation performance tracking

  • Execute day-to-day operational plans for the Strategic Partnerships & Philanthropy team, delivering work according to defined targets, timelines, and quality standards

  • Coordinate cross-functional workflows with Marketing, Finance, Events, and Operations teams to support fundraising, communications, and partner engagement priorities

  • Support cultivation and stewardship activities, including event coordination, prospect meeting logistics, invitations, registration, and speaker communications

  • Assist in the planning and execution of large-scale flagship events and fundraising-related activations

  • Independently resolve routine operational issues and escalate complex matters with recommended solutions

  • Support internal team operations by managing meeting agendas, documenting notes, tracking action items, and guiding follow-up across teams


Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree required

  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience required in coordination, operations, fundraising, partnerships, events, or nonprofit environments

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including drafting professional correspondence

  • Experience using CRM, project management, or collaboration tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, Asana, Google Workspace, or similar)

  • Ability to independently execute operational tasks, solve routine problems, and interpret policies or procedures

  • Comfortable working across teams, explaining processes, and supporting cross-functional collaboration

  • Interest in philanthropy, partnerships, social impact, or innovation


Beneficial Qualifications

Strong candidates will have some of the following:

  • Experience supporting fundraising, donor relations, partnerships, or business development

  • Experience with prospect research, pipeline tracking, or stewardship reporting

  • Experience supporting events, sponsorships, or high-touch stakeholder engagement

  • Comfortable using AI or automation tools to support research, drafting, or workflow efficiency

  • Prior experience in a nonprofit, university, or mission-driven organization

  • Ability to anticipate team needs, manage ambiguity, and proactively identify process improvements
