Solve at MIT 2026

We’re honored to welcome MIT President Sally Kornbluth back to the Solve stage to kick off the day’s events. Afterwards, we will hear from our keynote speaker, Taiwan’s Cyber Ambassador-at-large and 2025 Right Livelihood Award Laureate, Audrey Tang, in a discussion around using technology to build trust, scaling innovations into and with governments, and deploying a people-first approach to AI tools.

In the morning, fresh off the plenary conversations, we’ll move from inspiration to action. There is immense power in meaningful connection, and these working sessions facilitate that (without the awkward small talk). We will convene intentional groups based on alignment with individual goals—whether with others working in the same topic area, geography, or role—so that everyone leaves with a new number, business card, or LinkedIn connection that will enable meaningful relationships long after the event ends.

We’ll reconvene after lunch to visualize the futures we’re working towards, together. This isn’t a lofty goal when you consider who will be in the room. From adapting any book for any reader to putting 1 billion people on the map—the 2025 Solver Class isn’t dreaming, they’re acting. We will hear vignettes from the future, share real impact happening all around the world, and find their role within groups scaling solutions that build better futures for everyone.

To close out the day, we’ll turn to what this moment in time requires of each of us. What is the role of philanthropy? How can innovation drive tangible and durable improvements to close equity gaps? Where does Solve fit into the equation as an innovation engine? With a few special announcements sprinkled throughout, we will head to the reception inspired, invigorated, and ready to act.
