In response to What are your impact goals for the next year and the next five years, and -- importantly -- how will you achieve them?
I was looking for some clearer description of impact indicators. Process indicators were identified via the number of people and healthcare workers served, but how have the services provided helped?
Reports by community members have demonstrated improvement in the psychosocial wellbeing of the initiative's clients. For example, clients who were previously on free treatment are in a position to get back to work and pay for services such as future therapy, consultation or medication when need arises.
In response to Describe the core technology that powers your solution.
It would have been useful to better describe the electronic platform used for the telepsychiatry services in order to be able to assess its strengths, weaknesses and scalability.
Thank you for your input. The initiative uses telecommunication technology to provide psychiatric services at a distance through the zoom platform.

In response to What is your business model?
From a sustainability perspective, I am concerned by the perceived intention of the initiative to rely on volunteerism/the good will of the community mental health workers, peer advocates and therapists. In my view, relying on donors is not a sustainable strategy, and puts at risk those who would come to depend on the initiative's services. Revenue generation alternatives &/or linkage to insurance reimbursement (NHIF/private insurance) should be explored.
The initiative has income generated from its social enterprise; treatment, training and psychosocial support services offered at a subsided fee to clients. The services rendered are priced on a sliding scale which is meant to generate some revenue to run the initiative without leaving out the low-income earners in the society. This ensures the sustainability of the initiative.
I love your suggestion to explore insurance reimbursement linkages.
