The off grid element and high insulation are attractive. Would be useful to know, from a material perspective, of potential rebound effects from wide scale application of this approach to housing. Also interesting would be to know if such an individualised approach to housing can be supported by zoning and available construction land in Pakistan.
What's great about the technology is that it delivers more sustainable and energy efficient homes at a lower cost in comparison to conventional homes in the country. This is not just attractive for end users but helps save a considerable amount of energy and water for the country.
Moreover, the houses have received building code approvals from all relevant authorities and sit well with local zoning laws.
