The core philosophy of DeFi loans was to make capital accessible to everyone, but the present structure creates hindrances to mass adoption. The barrier is that DeFi loans are always over-collateralized by design. It makes them too elitist and reserved for those with both tech skills and capital.

It might seem weird, as one borrows because they need funds they don't own in most cases. So, DeFi loans, as a source of capital, aren't accessible for mainstream borrowers and underserved populations looking for alternatives in the eyes of the upcoming recession.

Nomis is a Credit Karma for DeFi or a multi-chain lending marketplace that smartly connects borrowers with DeFi protocols offering custom loan terms based on borrowers’ on-chain reputation. Nomis is designed to bring mass adoption closer and enable DeFi lenders to get more clients.

We help mainstream borrowers and underserved populations get alternative access to capital by placing them in a web2-like experience and enabling them to leverage their on-chain reputation to get better DeFi loan terms. On the other hand, Nomis enables lending protocols to use wallet credit score data in their business models to offer custom terms for borrowers and target particular customer segments in the marketplace.

We're a diversified team of 6 with strong technical capabilities, extensive experience in building scoring solutions for business, and domain expertise in launching crypto projects.

1. Alex, CEO, is a serial entrepreneur with 15 years of experience in neural network and expert systems research and advanced AI and ML skills. He has extensive C-level experience: Alex founded and managed a SaaS scoring service for HR—[GoRecru.it](http://gorecru.it/) and, as CTO, developed an AI system to automate and make personnel decision-making data-driven (Vetlan).
2. Fedor, CTO, is a Ph.D. in Computer Science and Senior Software Developer (>15 years of experience) with extensive experience in AI and blockchain engineering. He is an author/co-author of >40 scientific papers on AI and has 8 patent certificates of artificial neural network softwares. As for blockchain experience, Fedor developed multiple blockchain solutions on Solidity (Ethereum, Polygon), and Exonum (Rust) framework.
3. Arty, CPO, is a crypto native and experienced product manager (>4 years of experience as PM and UI/UX designer in crypto projects). He co-founded and managed product development at KickCity, an event platform on Ethereum (NFT tickets, ERC20 referral tokens) that raised a $300k pre-seed. Arty co-founded and managed KREO.digital, an AR/VR creative studio that worked with Huawei, Subway, Mazda, and Redbull, and launched a profitable online course for AR developers.
4. Nick, Backend Engineer, is a Senior Software Developer (>5 years of experience) and an active open source and blockchain contributor. He co-founded UCHOOSE, an NFT rarity scanner.
5. Vitalii, BDM, has >5 years of experience in B2B Sales and Marketing at both early-stage startups and a Fortune-500 enterprise. He had been leading a $3MM part of P&G business and contributed to sales prospecting at a web3 startup that raised $11.5M in 4 months.
6. Denis, Frontend, has >10 years of experience in graphic design and modern art, >5 years—in UI, and >3y—in frontend and UX.

Nomis is at the MVP stage. 10k+ wallets have been scored on 20+ L1 and L2 chains so far. Now we have 3 pilot projects in progress with DeFi lending/borrowing protocols from TOP3 networks.
