Pitch your solution.
Urgent care clinics, telemedicine and long-term care centers with elderly patients are areas of growth, industry observers note. Another big use is in places where even the 10-pound laptop ultrasounds are unwieldy.
Ultraware, a T-shirt with an image quality and AI-confirmation will give us greater accuracy and confidence by 24/7, reducing the need for additional testing and delays.
The Ultraware platform enables deep learning by using high-grade image quality, which is essential to train deep learning algorithms, because high-quality data ensures accurate results. Ultraware also reveals its AI calculations in a transparent manner to clinicians.
"For AI techniques to be useful, a data-rich image is required to avoid classic 'garbage-in, garbage-out' problems. For deep learning to be of actual value to medicine.

What is your solution?
ultraware is an ultrasound-on-a-chip which retains the basic principle of usual ultrasound system, while incorporating two new key things. Firstly, it replaces the piezoelectric crystal in usual ultrasound system with micromachine that acts like a tiny drum to generate vibrations. This allows a rather wide range of clinical applications as instead of tuning the crystal at the time of manufacture to produce the right type of ultrasonic wave for imaging at a particular depth, the Butterfly iQ can be tuned for different clinical applications at any time.
Secondly, this ultrasound on-a-chip has integrated circuits in which its micromachines are attached directly to a semiconductor layer that contains all the necessary amplifiers, signal processors and so on. That having said, everything can be found on just a single chip – inside the probe in ultraware. This is very different from today’s ultrasound system with cables connecting each crystal to the computer that produces images.
