My solution is an app helps you find a carpenter, painter, plumber, electrician, cleaner, babysitter, gardener, AC repairman, etc.
Our pitch:
1. The solution enables matchmaking of skills and needs for the vocational trainers to receive job offers.
2. There are many vocational trainers in different fields that a household needs; however, it is pretty hard to find one when needed. The app will allow them to put a profile on the app so that people can access and invite them for services.
3. This will definitively create more job opportunities and promotion of those in the fields. If scaled, this app could be helpful in different countries, cities, communities, be it from the developed or developing countries.
The problem:
The problem emerged from two personal experiences: a) the unemployment of the professionals in the vocational jobs; as well as; b) the difficulty in finding the contacts of a professional in the vocational job that is required at a specific time and date in a household.
Why our solution will solve the problem:
The app does not come up with an extraordinary and impossible to believe solution it is a simple way of putting data in the app of the professionals in the field that a household may need.
In developing and developed countries, there is a high demand for vocational trainers in the fields above because they cannot afford to always purchase new equipment therefore, they would rather opt for repair. This is specifically true for the developing countries.
Our target outcomes:
In developed countries, it is sometimes difficult to find professionals who posses these skills therefore the app would allow them to easily find and contact them. Overall, solution is to contribute to employment of these professionals as well as to make the access of the services to those in need.
