What specific problem are you solving?
In low- and middle-income countries like my home country Lebanon, 70% of 10-year-olds cannot understand a simple written text (World Bank, 2022) even with access to school. Schools are under-resourced, classrooms are overcrowded, teachers are overwhelmed, and students are falling behind.
In most classrooms, one overworked teacher is responsible for 30+ students. Struggling learners go unnoticed. Teachers lack the time and tools to provide the help students need. Quality education becomes impossible. This growing learning poverty is not just about academic failure, it’s about futures being cut short. Millions of students disengage, fall behind, and eventually drop out, trapped in cycles of poverty, and unemployment.
