What specific problem are you solving?
We're addressing the critical shortage of accessible, engaging neurological rehabilitation for the 1 billion+ people globally living with neurological conditions. Stroke survivors, children with developmental delays, and people with brain injuries face significant barriers: lengthy waitlists, prohibitive costs (ranging from $200-450 per session in private urban settings), and geographical limitations that make consistent therapy challenging. The consequences are substantial - studies show that approximately 70% of patients drop out of traditional rehabilitation programs, with even higher rates in rural communities. Without proper rehabilitation, stroke survivors experience significantly higher risks of permanent disability, while children with developmental delays miss critical intervention windows. Our solution, Neurofit, bridges this gap with remote, gamified therapy that maintains clinical efficacy while improving adherence rates to 80% based on our pilot data. By empowering clinicians to serve up to 4x more patients and extending rehabilitation beyond clinic walls, we're addressing both the access and engagement problems simultaneously, starting with underserved communities where rehabilitation provider shortages are most severe (with provider-to-patient ratios as low as 1:5,000 in some regions).
What is your solution?
Neurofit is a digital therapy platform that helps patients with neurological conditions stay engaged in their cognitive rehabilitation—anytime, anywhere. Our web-based platform gives therapists a simple way to prescribe personalized, gamified cognitive exercises that patients can access from home using their existing devices—no downloads or special equipment required. Clinicians can monitor progress remotely, adjust care plans in real time, and generate reports that support documentation and reimbursement. What makes Neurofit different is how it supports both sides of the rehabilitation equation: patients get therapy that’s interactive and motivating (with 80%+ adherence rates in pilots), while clinicians can support more patients without increasing their workload. The platform targets cognitive skills like attention, memory, and executive function through evidence-based activities designed to build real-world capabilities. The goal is to help patients apply these skills to everyday life—like following instructions, managing schedules, or staying focused at work or school. Built-in mood and behavior tracking also gives therapists deeper insight into daily functioning. To date, we've facilitated more than 50,000 completed sessions across clinics in North America. Who does your solution serve, and in what ways will the solution impact their lives?
Neurofit serves individuals with neurological conditions who face barriers to accessing consistent, high-quality rehabilitation. This includes stroke survivors, people with traumatic brain injuries, and children with developmental delays such as autism, ADHD, and sensory processing disorders. These populations are often underserved — especially in rural, low-income, or public healthcare settings — where waitlists can stretch for months and travel to therapy is difficult or unaffordable. Many patients drop out of care before seeing meaningful progress. Clinicians in these systems are also stretched thin, lacking tools to personalize care, monitor engagement, or support patients between visits. Neurofit addresses these gaps by giving therapists a simple way to assign and monitor engaging therapy remotely. For patients, this means access to gamified, personalized exercises they can complete at home, increasing adherence and continuity of care. For providers, it means less administrative burden and the ability to support more patients with the same resources. By focusing on accessibility, personalization, and measurable outcomes, Neurofit helps people who are too often left behind by traditional rehabilitation systems — giving them a better chance at recovery, independence, and long-term quality of life.
