What specific problem are you solving?
We are addressing the issue of digital exclusion and economic marginalization in underserved regions, where young adults, especially women, face significant barriers to participating in the digital economy due to a lack of technology and training. In rural areas of Haiti and Kenya, over 70% of the population remains unemployed, and 90% lack access to digital literacy programs and supporting infrastructure. Limited access to devices, unreliable power supply, and intermittent internet connectivity compound the problem. This challenge not only restricts individual potential but also perpetuates community-wide poverty.
What is your solution?
Project Trinitē deploys PODs (Portable Online Development Systems) - digitally enabled information, communication, and technology hubs that provide structured digital skills training, personalized AI-powered learning, mentorship, and access to global job opportunities. The PODs are solar-powered, satellite connected and designed for low-resource environments. We utilize a cloud-based, mobile-friendly platform with localized content to ensure accessibility. Learners benefit from real-time feedback and guided mentorship. Each POD offers workspace, devices, connectivity, and adaptive management tailored to the socioeconomic realities of the communities we serve. Project trainees build skills in AI, data analysis, programming, network security, app development, digital media, and more, preparing them to become Associates within six months.
Who does your solution serve, and in what ways will the solution impact their lives?
Our project serves young adults in rural Haiti and Kenya, particularly those with limited access to education, digital tools, or employment opportunities. Our solution equips them with advanced tech skills, connects them to global job markets, and empowers them to earn a transformational income. We have already impacted over 50 individuals, helping them unlock new opportunities. In the long term, this model functions as a self-sustaining engine that connects resources, increases independence, and contributes to local economic development.
