AgroLivex is addressing inefficiencies in Africa's livestock sector, which leads to high beef prices, food insecurity, and unsustainable farming practices. In Ethiopia, where livestock farming is a key economic activity, over 80% of rural households depend on livestock for their livelihoods. However, outdated feeding practices, lack of proper veterinary care, and limited market access have hindered productivity and raised the cost of beef. This results in high food prices and limited access to nutritious protein for millions of people. Globally, the beef industry is responsible for around 15% of total greenhouse gas emissions, primarily due to methane released by cattle. In Africa, the inefficiency in cattle farming is compounded by poor resource management, contributing to environmental degradation and climate change. By implementing sustainable feeding practices, reducing methane emissions, and improving cattle management, AgroLivex aims to improve food security, lower costs, and promote climate-friendly farming. This solution will positively impact millions of people in Ethiopia and Africa, addressing the challenges of food access, job creation, and environmental sustainability.

AgroLivex offers an integrated solution combining sustainable farming practices, expert consultation and training to create climate-resilient, efficient livestock farming.
