What specific problem are you solving?
Millions of small vendors in emerging markets lack digital tools to scale, automate sales, and build trust with customers. In Ghana and many parts of Africa, micro and small businesses are often invisible online, struggle with manual sales processes, and lose buyers due to poor customer support or failed order fulfillment. Shoppers, in turn, lack reliable platforms with buyer protection, leading to mistrust in digital commerce.
According to the World Bank, over 90% of businesses in sub-Saharan Africa are small enterprises, yet most lack access to digital infrastructure. At the same time, Statista reports that online shopping in Africa is growing rapidly but trust and convenience remain barriers to adoption.
Apsel addresses these issues by solving: Limited market reach for small vendors, Manual and inefficient sales operations, Lack of shopper protection when vendors fail to deliver, and Poor customer experience due to unavailability of real-time support.
What is your solution?
