What specific problem are you solving?
My mother, Mrs. Olive Adeyemi, was a cassava processor who tragically passed away at the age of 52 from respiratory failure. A visit to her farm showed her struggle, there were stack of firewood, large pile of cassava waste and fetid cassava waste water littering all around. Such is the fate of over 30,000,000 farmers and food processors in rural Nigeria. During her funeral, there were whispers of women like her, who had died in the similar way -- all young, some suffering severe health problems before succumbing. The villagers knew the firewood stoves, charcoal and fume producing diesel used daily at their homes and farms was killing them, but they were totally helpless and too impoverished to change their situation. Emission from unclean stoves, and dirty fuel is the 2nd highest killer in Africa. Annually, it kills over 100,000 in Nigeria alone. D-Olivette was a mission borne out of personal pain, to ensure no women or farmer ever suffers the same fate like the late Mrs. Olive Adeyemi.
What is your solution?
OUR SOLUTION D-Olivette harnesses AI-powered biodigesters to convert over 30 types of organic agricultural waste into clean cooking gas, electricity, fertilizer, and livestock feed. Its Bio-360 AI chatbot—available in 10+ languages—guides 30,000+ rural users in maximizing these conversions. The solution cuts energy and input costs by 50%, eliminates toxic waste, and prevents over 50,000 metric tons of CO₂ emissions yearly, fostering sustainable agriculture and healthier communities. WHY IT MATTERS Africa’s food crisis is worsening: fertilizer prices surged by over 300% in 2022, and energy costs are pushing farmers out of production. OUR PRODUCTS 1. Kitchen Box – A household biodigester for clean fuel and fertilizer. 2. Bio-Tank – A scalable farm system for energy, feed, and nutrients. 3. Bio-360 – An AI chatbot for biodigester performance, real-time data, and multilingual support.
