What specific problem are you solving?
We are solving the trust deficit in online shopping, especially in social commerce. Over 90% of customers in our community ask for real product proof, video calls, or fear scams—leading to lost orders and low conversions. This problem is more severe in tier 2 and 3 cities where digital trust is still growing. Globally, e-commerce fraud cost businesses $48 billion in 2023. In India, return rates for apparel are as high as 30–40%, mostly due to a mismatch in product expectations or doubts about authenticity. Women-led small businesses and social sellers face the biggest challenges as they lack the tools to prove product credibility at scale. Our solution, LIVSTO, uses live-stream shopping to allow sellers and influencers to showcase products in real-time, answer questions, and build trust directly with buyers—reducing doubt and increasing confidence. By 2027, India’s live-commerce market is projected to reach $4–5 billion. Our platform ensures women sellers can participate confidently and customers can shop with trust.

The seller app allows women entrepreneurs to easily go live, showcase their products in real time, interact with viewers, and take orders during or after the session. It’s designed for ease of use, even for first-time digital sellers in tier 2 and 3 cities. The influencer app lets content creators collaborate with sellers, host live shopping events, and earn through commissions or brand deals—expanding reach and credibility. The user app is for shoppers who can watch live product demos, chat with sellers or influencers, ask questions, and shop instantly. This creates a transparent and interactive shopping experience, reducing fear of scams and improving customer confidence. All apps use mobile-friendly live-streaming, real-time chat, order integration, and secure payment systems. The platform is designed to be simple, scalable, and inclusive—empowering local sellers and bringing a human touch to digital commerce.
Who does your solution serve, and in what ways will the solution impact their lives?
Our solution serves women social sellers and small business owners in tier 2 and 3 cities who struggle to build trust with online buyers. They often lack tools to show product authenticity, leading to lost sales and limited growth. These sellers are underserved by big e-commerce platforms and rely on informal channels like WhatsApp and Instagram. Buyers, too, hesitate to shop due to fear of scams and fake products. LIVSTO helps by offering a live-stream shopping platform where sellers can show products in real time, answer questions, and build trust. This leads to better sales for sellers and safer, more confident shopping for buyers.
