What specific problem are you solving?
We have developed a public-private partnership model based on pre-financing, which has proven its effectiveness in the Republic of Guinea with significant results:
- 20 hospitals digitalized in 2 years (2023–2024)
- 218,947 patients monitored in hospital settings
- 20,000 diabetic/hypertensive patients monitored
- 329,662 anonymized medical records
- 1,230 healthcare professionals trained
- 141 departments equipped with IT equipment
Our approach integrates interoperability with existing health information systems, such as DHIS2, to ensure better data qualification and transmission. It also includes a logistics management module for medications and a last-mile distribution mechanism, ensuring optimal coverage of healthcare needs.
This model has helped secure revenues, improve transparency, and facilitate data management for informed decision-making. It has also enabled the implementation of innovative systems such as a one-stop service window, electronic medical records, and optimized management of communicable and non-communicable diseases.
What is your solution?
Visa Medical is a platform for collecting patient medical information by specialty, with decision-support tools to enable accurate diagnosis, appropriate treatment, and prediction of complications.
At the heart of this medical data collection, its hospital digitization solution stands out as a key component for better qualification of medical data, enabling in-depth analysis to support decision-making at all levels.
Who does your solution serve, and in what ways will the solution impact their lives?
Any person suffering from diabetes and hypertension on one hand and any patient in rural areas (data collection, treatment and availability).
Digitalizing hospitals for doctors to have less difficulty into collecting, treating and making patients data available.
Most of the time, big cities have more access to quality health infrastructures than rural zones therefore our being inclusive has included both cities and countryside.
