What is your solution?
At StandWeSpeak, an award-winning SexTech social venture, we are revolutionizing sexual health for Millennials and GenZ with our innovative AI-driven chatbot, "Mae." By leveraging AI, Mae ensures that young people have easy access to accurate, age-appropriate, and non-judgmental information to make informed decisions about their bodies, relationships, and lives. As a one-stop platform, Mae offers a range of services, including: 1. Medically-legally accurate sexual health information. 2. Consultations with healthcare and legal experts. 3. Distribution of menstrual hygiene, sexual wellness, and contraceptive products. 4. Curated digital content, podcasts and resources. Who does your solution serve, and in what ways will the solution impact their lives?
Target Audience & Challenges: StandWeSpeak’s AI-driven solution, Mae, is designed for youth aged 13–35, with a focused outreach to girls, women, and LGBTQ+ individuals who have long faced systemic neglect in accessing sexual and reproductive health (SRH) education and services. This population often struggles with limited access to accurate SRH information, deeply rooted stigma, and concerns around confidentiality. Traditional education systems often fail to provide inclusive, comprehensive SRH learning. Stigma around topics like menstruation, contraception, LGBTQ+ identity, or premarital sex leaves many feeling isolated or shamed. Moreover, fear of judgment or exposure prevents youth from seeking support or care. Mae’s Transformative Impact: Mae tackles these barriers by offering medically accurate, legally sound, and age-appropriate SRH information through a completely anonymous, non-judgmental platform. It ensures confidential access to experts for virtual consultations, while also enabling users to order SRH products like contraceptives and menstrual hygiene items. Mae’s inclusive design empowers users from all backgrounds, especially underserved communities, to feel seen, heard, and safe. Through a library of podcasts, digital content, and storytelling, Mae enhances knowledge, reduces misinformation, and promotes emotional well-being. By prioritizing dignity, privacy, and inclusivity, Mae helps young people make informed, confident decisions about their bodies and futures.
