What specific problem are you solving?
Across Africa, millions of girls and women lack access to accurate sexual and reproductive health information and services, resulting in poor health outcomes, misinformation, and stigma. In Nigeria alone, over 37 million girls and women face barriers to managing their menstrual health with dignity. Less than 40 percent of young women have comprehensive knowledge of HIV, and only 14 percent have access to period tracking tools or digital health support. In rural communities, the challenge is even greater, with limited access to care, education, and safe products.
This lack of personalized health information contributes to high rates of untreated STIs, unplanned pregnancies, and school absenteeism during menstruation. The problem is not just about products or education in isolation. It is about the absence of continuous, tailored support that meets young women where they are digitally and culturally.
