What specific problem are you solving?
Robotics education, a vital entry point into STEM, remains out of reach for most K-12 students in Vietnam. While a few private schools offer robotics programs, the majority of students — especially those in remote and rural areas — have little to no exposure. This leaves a large portion of the population disconnected from opportunities to explore technology and innovation at an early stage.
This lack of access is driven by several barriers: high costs of robotics kits, limited school infrastructure, and a shortage of teaching resources. Alarmingly, over 30% of rural schools still face infrastructure challenges in delivering basic digital education (MOET, 2022). Without affordable tools, adequate facilities, and trained educators, schools struggle to deliver robotics education, widening the gap between students in different regions and socioeconomic backgrounds.
The consequences are significant. Students miss the chance to develop critical skills like creative thinking and problem-solving during their school years. This not only limits their individual potential but also holds back Vietnam’s broader capacity for innovation. As the world rapidly shifts toward a tech-driven future, we must act now to ensure that all Vietnamese students, regardless of where they live, can acquire the skills they need to thrive and shape the future.
What is your solution?
Our solution is a comprehensive Robotics Education Ecosystem designed to integrate key components to support and expand robotics education across Vietnam. The ecosystem integrates accessible software, globally aligned curriculum, STEAM hubs, community-building activities, and competitions to foster hands-on, future-ready learning.
Software: Students have access to our interactive platform featuring online lessons, auto-graded assignments, game-based learning, and a Webot simulation tool that mirrors real-world physics, making robotics learning engaging and accessible, even in remote areas.
Curriculum: Our structured STEM curriculum teaches foundational skills such as programming and artificial intelligence, aligned with both Vietnam’s MOET (Ministry of Education and Training) standards and global frameworks such as the curriculum from VEX IQ and MIT’s Introduction to Robotics.
Maker Spaces & Community: We aim to establish 11 STEAM hubs across 10 cities and provinces (2 Hubs in Hanoi) by the end of 2025, providing makerspaces and hands-on robotics learning with our robot kits (provided by our partners) for approximately 5,000 students.
Competitions & Career Orientation: We host nationwide robotics competitions and career-oriented activities such as field trips, workshops, and internship programs—bridging classroom learning with real-world applications and inspiring future tech careers.
Who does your solution serve, and in what ways will the solution impact their lives?
Our solution serves K–12 students across Vietnam, a developing country where access to robotics education is still a privilege, not a norm. These students, especially those in rural provinces, often lack exposure to STEM programs, hands-on robotics kits, and extracurricular learning opportunities in emerging fields like robotics, AI, and programming, limiting their potential to develop critical 21st-century skills. Additionally, many educators in these regions lack the training and resources to teach these advanced subjects effectively.
The students face systemic challenges, including outdated curricula, limited school resources, and little to no access to robotics instruction. Through our accessible, digital-first ecosystem, comprising free online courses, simulation platforms, educational games, and community-driven competitions - we aim to bridge these gaps and democratize access to quality robotics education.
So far, we have reached over 10,000 students from 63 out of 63 cities and provinces in Vietnam, many of whom had never interacted with robotics before. By engaging students early, we help them build foundational knowledge and skills in STEM, nurture their interest in technology, and visualize and pursue a future in STEM careers.
