What specific problem are you solving?
Over 70% of students globally lack foundational STEM and digital literacy skills required for tomorrow’s jobs. This gap is even wider in under-resourced schools, where teachers often lack the training and tools to teach these skills effectively. Furthermore, while STEM education is expanding, it rarely addresses sustainability or social awareness, leading to a generation unprepared for climate and societal challenges.
According to the WEF, 65% of today’s children will work in jobs that don’t yet exist—most requiring green tech, AI, and systems thinking. Yet, teacher capacity, curriculum alignment, and accessibility remain barriers.
Twin tackles this problem by integrating sustainability into core STEM education, training teachers to use AI-assisted platforms, and equipping students with real-world problem-solving skills through hands-on kits and gamified digital content. Our solution closes both the STEM skills and sustainability awareness gaps, especially in communities where quality education is scarce.
What is your solution?
Twin Science offers a complete “STEM for Sustainability” education platform for students aged 6–14 and their teachers. Our solution includes:
Educator Portal: An AI-powered lesson planner with curriculum-aligned content and SDG integration.
Student App: A gamified, secure app with interactive experiments, trivia, and AI-based skill reporting.
STEM Kits: Hands-on robotics and coding modules aligned with sustainability challenges like clean energy and inclusive design.
Together, these tools empower teachers with ready-to-use lesson plans and engage students in building projects such as smart canes for the visually impaired, ocean-cleaning robots, and earthquake sensors.
Twin is the only end-to-end STEM solution that integrates UN Sustainable Development Goals. It works across IB, UK, and US curricula. The platform is already used in 5,000+ schools across 40 countries.
Who does your solution serve, and in what ways will the solution impact their lives?
Twin serves two primary groups:
Teachers, who are navigating growing demands to teach STEM, AI, and sustainability but often lack the tools, training, and time to deliver high-quality, engaging content.
Children aged 6–14, particularly those in under-resourced communities, but also in private schools seeking future-focused education aligned with global standards.
For teachers, Twin provides an AI-powered Educator Portal that simplifies lesson planning, aligns with IB/UK/US curricula, and connects STEM topics to real-world sustainability issues. This empowers educators to save time, build confidence, and deliver impact-driven learning—whether they teach in a rural state school or an international institution.
Students engage with Twin’s gamified learning app and hands-on STEM kits, learning not only robotics and coding but how to apply these skills to solve meaningful problems—from designing earthquake detectors to creating smart tools for accessibility. Our AI-driven reports guide both learning and future career choices.
To date, over 1.5 million students across 40 countries—and more than 5,000 schools, public and private—have benefited from Twin. By equipping all students with purpose-driven STEM skills, we’re helping raise a generation of responsible, tech-savvy problem solvers.
